The team at Simulanis is led by Raman Talwar at the helm, who is a well-decorated, top-rank holder and a multi-award winning Masters in Chemical Engineering with Honours in Research (MEng. Hons.) from the University of Manchester (UK). His core interests lie in the development and application of process simulation and optimization models to solve real-world problems. Since November 2013, he has steered Simulanis to become one of the most innovative and powerful national award winning AR-VR startups in India.

2013
The
Beginning
Simulanis was founded on 23 November 2013 as a training-focused engineering company, delivering CAE and programming courses across colleges and our own office. What started as a small team of passionate trainers became the foundation for our journey into XR.
2015
Exploring 3D and AR, and Learning to Pivot
We shifted our focus to interactive learning using 3D gamification and AR for higher education. After a year of market validation, we couldn’t achieve product-market fit, leading us to a strategic pivot heading into 2016.
2016
Pivot to
Industrial AR/VR
As AR/VR technologies matured, we shifted from education to industrial training, applying AR, VR, and 3D gamification to real-world use cases. By deploying solutions in the pharmaceutical and FMCG sectors, we became one of India’s early adopters of immersive tech for industry.
2017
Scaling Immersive Tech Across Industries
From 2017 onward, we expanded AR, VR, MR, and 3D gamified solutions across multiple industrial sectors, developing a suite of products built on our proprietary 4-layer framework. This foundation helped us deliver at scale for 120+ Fortune 500 enterprises.
2018
The Year of Virtual Collaboration
This year redefined how teams work together, combining remote guidance, VR design reviews, and multiplayer collaboration in Eagle to remove distance from decision-making.
2019
Advancing with
XR Analytics
In 2018, we pushed our innovation further by launching SANALEXA, a comprehensive analytics suite designed to measure workforce performance, training effectiveness, and psychological/physiological responses within XR environments.

The Year of Simulators
After helping friends and clients do the same, I decided to package everything I’d learned. This course is the exact roadmap I wish I had when I started, so you can skip the burnout and get straight to building your own freedom.
2020
Launching India’s First Haptic VR Gloves
In 2020, we introduced REFLEXIS, India’s first haptic VR gloves with a fully compatible SDK, unlocking a new level of immersive training. We also expanded our simulator lineup with the launch of our driving and scaffold simulators.
2022
Launching Our XR Platform Suites
We introduced two major platforms in 2022: the Learning Platform Suite for hosting all XR training content, and the Configurator Platform Suite for building custom 3D training environments, advancing scalable, impactful immersive learning.
2023
The Year of DIY Authoring Tools
We launched SDF, along with our DIY Metaverse and authoring tools, making it easy for anyone to create and customize immersive experiences.
